The first thing that you need to do is figure out why your website got banned, if indeed it is, banned in the first place. Then see if there is something you can do to get your website and it's Page Rank (PR) restored by Google. If you have done nothing wrong to upset Google then the ban maybe be only temporary. Meaning your server may have been down at the time in which the GoogleBot came by to complete it's monthly crawl or index your website and because your server was down or unavailable it assumed your website wasn't there. When this happens, the Googlebot (the name of Google's web crawler) may come back and check your website. The higher you rank in terms of PageRank (PR) then there stands a good check it will because those who have high Page Rank their websites are visited more frequently then the normal monthly crawl or index , however, there are no promises.
